2005 (55) Subaru Impreza WRX (PPP)

Having been awarded an exceptional 4.5 stars review; EVO magazine hailed the revised and much improved Peter Stevens designed car as a masterpiece in functionality and ability. Autocar further agreed with the sentiment, that the standard WRX combines taut body control with an easy compliance and an unperturbed ride – it’s the supreme part-time enthusiast’s four-wheel-drive car of choice. And in contrast to its uncompromising stable-mate, the STi, it feels like it’s suspended on a current of warm air.

For the more discreet types, this WRX offers the Impreza experience with a twist, having had the factory installed Prodrive Performance Pack (PPP). This desirable factory upgrade offers a performance increase of 25% to 265PS at 6000 RPM (previously 225PS at 5600rpm) and a 16% torque improvement over the standard car, resulting in an astonishing 0-60 time of 4.8 seconds!

With its slick manual gearbox, the WRX is a car that strikes that rare balance of compliance and composure, serving up accessible performance whenever it’s called for.

Specified in the iconic and unblemished WR Blue Mica Metallic paint finish and fabric seats, this WRX looks just as it did the day it left the factory.

With only two former keepers and a mere 10,700 documented miles, this example has been cherished by a fastidious elderly custodian, covering only 1,400 miles in the last 10 years whist being kept in a heated and carpeted facility.

Being totally original, factory correct, and in exceptional condition complete with all keys, bookpack and manuals, Petter Solberg would want you to….
