The new year has kicked off to a strong start in the world of classic and retro cars. It’s been a busy few weeks here at Wizard Sports and Classics, with a lot of activity happening with cars coming in and out of our premises. Our current crop of superb cars includes three iconic Germans, a convertible, a coupe and an estate. There’s something for everyone in this trio of classics.
Our most recent happy customers both drove away behind the wheel of a Mini, although each car was separated by some 40 years. The black, restored and immaculate 1275 GT was bought by the first person to view it, whilst the red R53 Cooper John Cooper Works car pinned a grin on the face of the new owner for the entire journey home (we are told!).
When it comes to new stock, we have not one buy TWO Jeep Cherokees on the way in. These superb, robust, well built old wagons are growing in popularity, making a very smart but very usable classic car. Able to do the tip run on Saturday and the Cars and Coffee event on Sunday, we fully understand why everyone wants an early Cherokee.

Staying with the theme of big vehicles, we have a significant announcement to make… Wizard Sports and Classics are now official retailers for Voodoo Custom Campers.
Voodoo have been building exceptional camper vans in the North West for more than 10 years. Chris is an avid Volkswagen fan, and is excited to be teaming up with Wizard to be a new outlet for these superb camper vans.

A new Social Media Adventure
Lastly, we are proud to be included in a new social venture known as The Real Car Dealers of Cheshire! This fun little project is a great way to keep in touch with some of the characters that work in classic and retro cars here in our part of the country. We won’t be taking it too seriously, so keep an eye on the social channels to keep up with our little team of enthusiasts.
