The BMW E92 M3 V8 Goodness
What is it?
The E92 generation M3 arrived in 2007 replacing the much loved E46, the first M3 with a V8 the E92 is one of the finest modern classic sports coupes cars money can buy. Cruiser one minute, bruiser the next, for a four-seater that can swallow a week’s luggage, it really has few peers.
Visual giveaways, apart from the badge, are the deep front spoiler and of course the exposed carbon roof.
What’s it got?
This low mileage example is finished in immaculate Silverstone paintwork with black novillo extended leather interior in wonderful condition. The M-Sport heated and memory seats offer superb driver comfort along with the practicality of cruise control and DCT M Drive.
The car sits purposefully on 19″ Style 220 M Alloy Wheels in satin Black factory finish
Around two-thirds of E92 M3s were specified by their first owners as semi autos so a manual offers rarity, adding a third pedal simply brings a further dimension to the drive, something else to perfect and enjoy
How does it drive?
The S65 engine is an absolute belter – powerful, torquey and with a phenomenal appetite for revs producing 414bhp at 8300rpm and 295lb ft of torque at 3900rpm performance figures of 0-62mph of 4.8 secs and 155MPH limited top speed. Those figures don’t tell the whole story though, there was so much more to the E92 than outright performance. In addition, the car was specified with Electronic Damper Control EDC and variable M-differential.
Why this one?
An immaculate and very collectable example with superb provenance. A full set of keys and complete history file set this example apart from the usual offering and as such, the car has been extremely well looked after regardless of cost to include preventative replacement of the rod bearings in 2021
Coming with two keys and a full book pack includes all handbooks, guides, and dealership literature as well as the service book containing the stamped entries.
